Position Overview

AgWest Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing our fleet of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and other testing equipment to identify faults or malfunctions.
  • Make necessary adjustments and repair or replace defective components.
  • Conduct performance tests on repaired machinery to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Install and adjust new machinery components as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
  • Service attachments and operational tools to maintain functionality.
  • Operate various types of machinery as needed.
