Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at AgWest Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in heavy equipment using computerized testing equipment and other diagnostic tools.
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and is safe for operation.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Service attachments and working tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently to meet production demands.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
