Position Overview

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at AgWest Ltd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy machinery used in the construction and agricultural sectors.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and other testing equipment to identify faults or malfunctions.
  • Make necessary adjustments and carry out repairs or replacements of defective components.
  • Conduct performance tests on repaired machinery to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Install and adjust new machinery components as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
  • Service attachments and operational tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate heavy machinery as needed during maintenance and repair tasks.
