Position Overview

AgWest Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machinery repair and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of our equipment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and other testing equipment to identify faults or malfunctions.
  • Make necessary adjustments and carry out repairs or replacements of defective components.
  • Conduct performance tests on repaired machinery to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Install and adjust components on new industrial equipment.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Service attachments and operational tools.
  • Engage in regular maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Operate various types of machinery as required.
