Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Trade Craft Inc.

Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, apprentices, trades helpers, and labourers
  • Prepare and submit production reports, estimates, and other documentation as required
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Train or arrange for training of staff members
  • Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Set up equipment and ensure it is properly maintained
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules
  • Read blueprints and drawings, and ensure they are accurately interpreted
  • Supervise and oversee apprenticeship training
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment:

The Construction Supervisor will work outdoors, in a noisy environment, and will be required to work overtime as needed.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Construction Supervisor will work 40 hours per week.
