About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at General Motors Canada. As a key member of our Warranty and Technical Services department, you will play a critical role in identifying key trends and data insights to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop dashboards using industry-standard technologies to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of tools to automate data collection and reporting.
  • Develop machine learning-based algorithms to predict future emerging trends and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in coding languages and database systems.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and navigate multiple systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Database/system skills, including Hue, Greenplum, Python, SQL, and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with automotive terms and technical knowledge.
  • Completed courses in statistics and/or machine learning.
