Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Data Insight Specialist to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our Brand Marketing team, you will play a critical role in identifying key trends and data insights to inform marketing and retail strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retail Planning Process Improvement and Automation
    • Develop and implement automated solutions to streamline incentives planning and enhance strategic decision-making.
    • Integrate competitor data into the retail planning process to drive business growth.
    • Design and deploy machine learning-based algorithms to predict incentive/sales/inventory trends.
  • Marketing Telemetry Data and Segment Assessments Analytics
    • Analyze marketing data from various sources to extract meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to understand customer segments and their behaviors.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Eligible to work full-time in Canada for a 12-month term.
  • Highly developed analytical skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
  • Database and reporting skills (Power BI, SQL, etc.).
  • Completed courses in statistics and/or machine learning.
Desired Skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to distill complex subjects.
  • High level of integrity and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
