Role Responsibilities:

As the National Programs Manager for People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our human resources initiatives across the organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of People & Culture, your responsibilities will include the design, execution, and oversight of national HR programs and projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and compliance with applicable employment regulations.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain national policies and programs, including the upkeep of employee manuals and internal communication platforms.
  • Lead initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, including adherence to government reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR teams across the organization to ensure program consistency and the availability of national resources.
  • Assist the VP with various national projects, conducting research on best practices and industry standards.
  • Create project management tools such as RACI matrices and Gantt charts.
  • Draft communication materials to support project phases, including presentations and email correspondence.
  • Track outstanding deliverables and ensure all tasks are monitored and completed.
  • Work alongside regional HR Directors to implement succession planning and development strategies for leadership roles.
  • Manage relationships and invoicing for national vendors, ensuring transparency in HR-related expenditures.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resources, particularly in large-scale projects or national organizations.
  • A university degree in Human Resources or a related field; CPHR designation is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR programs and processes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, ATS, and HRIS platforms is beneficial.
  • A proactive self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for HR initiatives and enhancing employee experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
