About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance on human resources programs and initiatives
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies to support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage HR teams to ensure effective delivery of HR services
  • Provide expert advice and consultation on human resources, employee relations, and labour relations
  • Develop and implement talent management and performance management programs
  • Manage employee and labour relations, including collective bargaining and conflict resolution

  • Manage compensation and benefits, pay equity, employee wellness, health and safety, and disability management
Requirements
  • Progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in a public sector environment
  • Significant experience leading HR teams and developing HR strategies and policies
  • Excellent skills in collective agreement administration, negotiation, and mediation
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communications, and presentation skills
  • University degree or college diploma in a related discipline; certified Human Resources professional designation would be an asset
