Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer - Industrial Facilities to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Industrial Facilities group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for industrial facilities projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects as a Project Manager or Discipline Lead
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to define needs, present technical information, concepts, or study results
  • Lead the design of surface infrastructure and participate in site development, including roads, underground services, surface water management, etc.
  • Perform design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines, code prescriptions, and other regulations
  • Participate in the development of plans, estimates, and details from guidelines in the context of industrial facilities projects
  • Make recommendations and take important decisions on highly technical or complex aspects
  • Verify the work produced by other engineers and technicians and provide mentorship to junior staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Masters in Structures is an asset
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial facilities design
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec is required
  • Experience in consulting engineering is considered an asset
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
