Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer - Industrial Facilities to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Industrial Facilities group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for industrial facilities, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects as a Project Manager or Discipline Lead, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to define needs, present technical information, and deliver project results.
  • Lead the design of surface infrastructure and participate in site development, including roads, utilities, and surface water management.
  • Perform design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines, codes, and regulations.
  • Participate in the development of plans, estimates, and details from guidelines in the context of industrial facility projects.
  • Make recommendations and take decisions on highly technical or complex aspects.
  • Verify the work produced by other engineers and technicians and provide mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Masters in Structures is an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial facility design.
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
  • Experience in consulting engineering is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
