About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Stantec, a leading global design and engineering firm. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs, including calculations and modeling.
  • Prepare and submit technical reports and documentation to clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Participate in project planning and coordination, and provide technical expertise to project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting firm.
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or Certified Professional Engineer (CPI) designation.
  • Experience with electrical design software, such as Easypower and ETAP.
  • Carte ASP Construction (asset).
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, preferably in a consulting firm (asset).
