We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Stantec, a leading global design and engineering firm. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet client requirements and are integrated with other building systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for electrical systems.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect electrical systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to ensure that electrical systems are designed and installed correctly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in commercial and industrial projects.
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers of Quebec or Certified Professional in Engineering (CPI) is an asset.
  • Experience with electrical design software, such as Easypower and ETAP.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations, including the National Building Code of Canada.
