Position Overview:

As a Field-Based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Cardiovascular, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team at Novartis. This role requires an innovative and experienced professional who is passionate about improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to execute and implement the cardiovascular medical strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage in high-level discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to build a robust network and understand the unmet medical needs within the healthcare system.
  • Contribute to the development of a Medical Expert Engagement Plan that addresses the medical needs of stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the therapeutic area’s strategic plan.
  • Establish and nurture peer-to-peer scientific relationships, facilitating impactful discussions that shape our medical strategy.
  • Provide current medical information to external stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Novartis products in relation to medical guidelines and health economics.
  • Adapt to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a balance between immediate requirements and long-term goals.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in life sciences with a strong medical and technical foundation.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate credible relationships with Medical Experts and decision-makers.
  • Proficient in synthesizing complex scientific data and analyzing it within strategic and regulatory frameworks.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
