Job Overview

EightSix Network is collaborating with a prominent consultancy that has been a key player in the Vancouver real estate and construction sector for over two decades. We are in search of a Project Manager with a solid history of overseeing commercial or institutional new construction projects valued between $10-50M.

Our client offers project advisory and owner's representative services to both public and private sector clients across a diverse array of projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

We are looking for qualified candidates for the roles of Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. This position presents an excellent opportunity for career advancement for driven professionals eager to elevate their careers. Furthermore, this role includes a flexible work arrangement allowing for 2-3 days of remote work each week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting project budgets and timelines
  • Collaborating with clients to establish project objectives and identify risks
  • Recruiting and managing project design teams
  • Offering constructive feedback to the design team to ensure adherence to quality and budgetary goals
  • Sourcing consultants and contractor teams as required for each project
  • Coordinating all owner-supplied fit-out equipment, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Maintaining ongoing client communication as the primary point of contact
  • Providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement of company processes
  • Contributing to the firm's efforts in acquiring new clients and project opportunities

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing commercial and institutional projects
  • Experience with municipal projects is a plus
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
  • Proven success as a Project Manager with a track record of delivering projects effectively
  • Versatility in handling various project types
  • Excellent time management and delegation capabilities
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Certifications such as PMP, P.Eng, and LEED AP are advantageous
