Job Summary

A key member of the Financial Reporting team at Hamilton Health Sciences, the Corporate Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of external reporting guidelines. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare financial/statistical reporting for internal and external Management Information Standards (MIS) reporting, Community Annual Planning Submissions (CAPS), and Community Quarterly Reports.
  • Work closely with the FP&A, Financial Services, and Decision Support Services teams to understand and utilize robust MIS datasets to inform decision-making.
  • Provide education to HHS stakeholders regarding external reporting requirements and document MIS policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review financial primary accounts, secondary accounts, and statistical account tables to ensure alignment with current Cluster profiles.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of financial analysis experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or Accounting.
  • Proven knowledge of current MIS standards (CIHI & OHRS).
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong ability in Access.
  • Proven ability to develop partnerships and work collaboratively across an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and organize work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with strong organizational skills that enable the management of multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
