Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining all rent and subsidy accounts, assisting the Chief Financial Officer and Manager Client Finances in preparing weekly, monthly, and annual reports, and performing various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify Tenant Rent Calculations prepared by Rental Coordinator and Rent Administrator
  • Reconcile Monthly Tenant Subsidies for all Managed Clients and prepare Monthly Subsidy Requests as required
  • Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable batches for Managed Clients
  • Perform Month End Journal entries for the CFO and Manager Client Finances
  • Assist CFO and Manager Client Finances with monthly reporting requirements
  • Assist other Financial Analysts in preparing monthly Subsidy Distributions Reports and Monthly Target Reports
  • Assist Manager Client Finances with budget preparation and analysis for Managed Clients
  • Provide monthly utility accruals to Manager Client Finances
  • Assist CFO and Manager Client Finances with year-end audit preparation and prepare all working papers for client properties
  • Assist Manager Client Finances in preparing Service Manager Annual Information Return reporting for Managed Clients
  • Maintain all MPAC information in Tenant data in Yardi software computer program and assist Financial Analysts with preparing annual MPAC reporting for managed projects
  • Attend client Board meetings and present financial reports
  • Prepare all annual statistical information reporting and submit directly to Service Managers
  • Provide backup to Financial Analysts during vacations and temporary absences
  • Assist other Financial Analysts and CFO as required
  • Perform data entry as required
Requirements
  • Community College diploma in Accounting or CPA Entry Level
  • Completion of ONPHA's RGI online Certificate within 1st year of hire
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to take direction from several staff and set priorities accordingly
  • Excellent ability to communicate both written and orally with others with proficiency in all aspects of office procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and discretion in dealing with confidential information or responding to inquiries
  • Knowledge and ability to work in Windows 10, Word, Excel, and Yardi Property Management Systems
Working Conditions
  • Must be bondable
  • Regular hours of employment are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday with a considerable amount of work required outside regular hours
  • Hybrid work schedule, working from home 2-3 days per week
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Parking will be provided on-site
