Job Title: Financial Analyst

A dynamic team at a leading manufacturing company in Canada is currently seeking a Financial Analyst with exceptional communication skills and a background in finance. This position offers the opportunity to work on financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting to support management in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Track and analyze monthly and quarterly performance metrics to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Assist with financial close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities to drive business success.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to support business intelligence.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Compile and monitor forecasting reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and ERP systems.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of fixed asset records and ledger reconciliations.
  • Ability to problem-solve through statistical analysis.
  • Financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence reporting tools.
