Alcohol Recovery Operator

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Alcohol Recovery Operator to join our team at Canadian Liquids Processors Limited, a leading provider of recycling and ethanol production services in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe receipt, handling, testing, and storage of alcohol-based liquids
  • Monitoring ethanol production and wastewater treatment processes
  • Spill control and prevention, as well as safe liquid tanker truck loading and unloading
  • Maintenance of various systems and equipment, including boilers and cooling towers
  • Data entry and other clerical duties

Requirements

  • Process operation experience with DCS control in a liquid environment, with a willingness to train
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability, preferably with certification in Power engineering, HVAC, Electrical, or Maintenance
  • Familiarity with pumps, boilers, and peripheral equipment, as well as pumping theory and dynamics
  • Demonstrated numerical accuracy and computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Safety consciousness and physical ability to lift and handle heavy objects
  • Willingness to work shifts and work alone
  • Basic understanding of chemistry
