Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Alcohol Recovery Operator to join our team at Canadian Liquids Processors Limited, a leading provider of recycling and ethanol production services in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe receipt, handling, testing, and storage of alcohol-based liquids
- Monitor ethanol production and wastewater treatment processes
- Implement spill control and prevention measures
- Load and unload liquid tanker trucks safely
- Monitor and maintain various systems and equipment, including boilers and cooling towers
- Perform data entry and other clerical duties
Requirements
- Process operation experience with DCS control in a liquid environment
- Demonstrated mechanical ability, preferably with certification in Power engineering, HVAC, Electrical, or Maintenance
- Familiarity with pumps, boilers, and peripheral equipment, as well as pumping theory and dynamics
- Demonstrated numerical accuracy and computer literacy
- Safety consciousness and physical ability to lift and handle heavy objects
- Willingness to work shifts and work alone
- Basic understanding of chemistry
