Food Service Manager

At Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill - Welland, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
- Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and our staff must be able to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
