Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Analyst to join our team at the Vancouver Airport Authority. As a key member of our Parking and Ground Transportation (PGT) Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of operational plans, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning and Oversight: Develop, document, review, and update program operational plans to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Service Provider Management: Provide day-to-day operational oversight and direction to various service providers, including performance measurement and reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, understand, and document current PGT operational processes, ensuring training and documentation/reference information is available to the operational team in real-time.
  • Process Requirements and Goals: Ensure process requirements, goals, and applicable KPIs are clearly understood and measured.
  • Capital Project Planning: Assist with Capital Project planning and participate in all relevant project meetings, providing input or recommendations as needed.
Key Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Five years' related experience in an operational/process environment, supplemented by a bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience in managing operational, process, and/or complex business environments.
  • Operational Management: Proven ability to work and make decisions in a complex operational environment with minimal supervision.
  • Business Acumen: Experience using sound business principles and data analytics to evaluate and support decision making.
  • Performance Measurement: Demonstrated experience measuring performance of operational and process flows.
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking: Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and review operational and process flows, demand, constraints, and partner requirements.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to diplomatically lead meetings with stakeholders that may have differing opinions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to produce high-quality results with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Technology Solutions: Experience using technology solutions to support operational and business requirements.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in parking and transportation industries is an asset.
