Overview:

Green Diamond Equipment, the premier John Deere dealership in the Maritimes, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fulfill the role of Agricultural & Construction Sales Representative. This position requires a professional who is passionate about sales and has a strong understanding of agricultural and construction machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to promote and sell both new and pre-owned agricultural and compact construction machinery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Monitor and report on competitive market activities and product offerings.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities within the designated territory.
  • Follow established sales processes and utilize available sales tools for optimal performance.
  • Assist in organizing and executing customer events, including promotional activities.
  • Conduct field demonstrations of new equipment to showcase capabilities.
  • Stay informed about customer business trends and relay insights to management.
  • Provide financing options to assist customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Participate in relevant sales training and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Parts and Service departments to promote additional products and services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.
  • Uphold the values and reputation of the Green Diamond and John Deere brands.
  • Work towards achieving annual sales targets and objectives.
  • Engage with potential customers to expand the client base.
  • Utilize the company’s CRM system to manage customer interactions effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment sales.
  • Familiarity with agricultural and construction equipment is advantageous.
  • Proficient in standard office software and internet applications.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and reports.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid driver's license is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
