Job Summary:

Wood is seeking a highly experienced Process Department Manager to lead our Potash and Uranium business group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of process engineering within projects, providing technical support, direction, and mentorship to process engineers, and coordinating across project interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality delivery of process engineering within projects, ensuring technical support and direction to process engineers.
  • Provide expertise in potash and uranium processing, with a strong understanding of process plant design and operation.
  • Lead feasibility studies and capital projects, with a focus on delivering best practice plant design.
  • Collaborate with our national and global mining teams to drive innovation and excellence in process engineering.
  • Develop and refine practices and systems within the process division to meet organization objectives.
  • Work closely with our commercial team to understand the commercial aspects of the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering or Extractive Metallurgy.
  • Recognized expertise in potash and/or uranium processing, with a strong understanding of process plant design and operation.
  • Over 15 years of experience in process engineering, with broad exposure to various minerals industry process activities and operations.
  • Experience in greenfield or large brownfield projects, with a focus on delivering best practice plant design.
  • Experience in consulting engineering and EPCM project office environments.
  • Registered with APEGS, or eligible for registration.
  • Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood.
