Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at UMI Toronto Premium Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain all kitchen equipment in good working order.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
