Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at UMI Toronto Premium Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean environment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and communication are essential. As a Kitchen Helper, you will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
