Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Bakery on Mavis. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, following recipes and special customer orders.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality products.
- Prepare special orders and decorate cakes and baked goods as required.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize production.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
- Fast-paced environment and ability to work in a team.
- Standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
Bakery on Mavis is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Baker, you will be working in a bakery setting, surrounded by the sights and smells of freshly baked goods. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, but you will also have the opportunity to work in a team and contribute to the production of high-quality baked goods.
