About the Role

TOTEM Recruteur de talent is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for our assets, ensuring that our facilities and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that all necessary resources are allocated and that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and Allocate Resources: Determine the necessary personnel, equipment, and materials required to complete maintenance tasks, and ensure that they are available when needed.
  • Coordinate Equipment Deployment: Oversee the mobilization of equipment and personnel to ensure that maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer guidance and support to local teams, serving as a subject matter expert on maintenance and asset management.
  • Develop and Implement Risk Analysis and Procedures: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with maintenance activities, and develop procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Utilize your expertise to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the mining, construction, forestry, or agricultural industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset management software.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Business Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
