Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join BIG D's Hot Chicken as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
