Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Grand Mehfil Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and accurate service
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and quality control
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing business needs and priorities
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a high level of activity and noise
  • Standing for extended periods, with frequent movement and lifting
  • Physically demanding, with a high level of manual dexterity and coordination
