Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring they meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory effectively.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring they meet the company's standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
Working Conditions:
  • 30-36 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
