Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Food Service Supervisor will:

  • Develop strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Create and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervision

The position involves supervising a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.

Safety and Security

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Transportation Information

Applicants should have access to their own vehicle, although public transportation options are available.

Physical Requirements

The role demands:

  • A fast-paced work environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Extended periods of standing and physical activity, including bending and kneeling.
