About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BOUTON D'OR FOOD LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food preparation staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports on food preparation and service
  • Team Management and Development
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and food presentation
    • Establish work schedules and ensure effective team management
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Work in a fast-paced food service environment
    • Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
