About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Albatross Veterinary Services. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Scheduling: Manage appointment schedules, including booking, rescheduling, and canceling appointments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.
  • Financial Transactions: Process payments, manage accounts receivable, and maintain a high level of accuracy with financial transactions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, such as data entry, filing, and mail distribution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Work Setting: Veterinary clinic
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking
