About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Apprentice to join our team at Newtech Iron Works Ltd. As a Welder Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting in the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the interpretation of welding process specifications and blueprints.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Perform minor repairs on welding equipment and machinery.
  • Assist in the operation of robotic welding production lines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including residential areas. The work environment will be outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.
