Job Summary

Newtech Iron Works Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder Apprentice to join our team. As a Welder Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting experienced welders in the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced welders in the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Perform minor repairs on welding equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in residential areas. The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
