About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Apprentice to join our team at SAM SIGNS INC. as a key member of our fabrication and repair department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, as well as brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the fabrication and repair team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced fabrication and repair environment with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Will train on the job, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge in welding, fabrication, and repair.
  • Language and Communication: Proficient in English language, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
