Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and consultation services for dysphagia and communication disorders to a mixed adult population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with dysphagia and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario
  • Experience in assessment and treatment of dysphagia, including video fluoroscopic studies
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to meet changing demands of a mixed caseload
