About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to provide high-quality services to children and young people in Halton. As a Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering assessments, interventions, and consultations to support effective communication.

Our team works closely with children, families, and the multi-agency team to provide a comprehensive service. You will have the opportunity to shape our services and contribute to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to children and young people, directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide assessments, consultations, and interventions to support effective communication.
  • Keep accurate records and provide written reports.
  • Set targets for therapy and monitor progress.
  • Develop and implement speech and language therapy programs and groups.
  • Supervise junior staff and SLTAs, and contribute to the induction of new team members.

Requirements

  • Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Degree or Masters.
  • Registration with RCSLT and HCPC.
  • 2+ years experience working as an SLT with children, young people who have Speech, Language and Communication needs, their families and the Multi-agency team.
