Job Description

**About the Role**

Moving2Canada is seeking a highly experienced Cost Management Director to lead our Cost Planning division in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead a team of cost management professionals to deliver high-quality estimates to clients
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities
  • Lead proposals for new work or variations for existing commissions
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences
  • Staff management – input into the formal management of staff and recruitment interviews
  • Undertake staff performance reviews
  • Financial management – utilize tools provided to track ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission
  • Delivery – produce real estate estimates in the CIQS elemental format, class D through to class A

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and estimating
  • Recognized university degree
  • Certification in relevant professional organizations (CIQS/RICS)
  • Ability to obtain government of Canada security clearance (reliability level)
  • Competence in producing real estate estimates in the CIQS elemental format
  • Experience in providing quality assurance on estimates produced by team members
