Director of Cost Management

Our client, a leading cost consulting and project management firm, is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join their team in Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal. As a key member of the loan monitoring team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end service and acting as the primary client interface.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare cost management estimates and reports for various asset classes across Canada.
- Oversee loan monitoring reports for real estate assets throughout Canada.
- Interface with clients and consultants at all project stages.
- Conduct research on construction market conditions in Canada, analyzing official data.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, and products.
- Ensure knowledge management by inputting key information into internal databases and sharing with the team.
- Participate in quality control, ensuring compliance with quality standards and ISO audits.
- Lead client interactions and proposal development for new work or project variations.
- Attend networking events and promotional opportunities to represent the company.
- Contribute to staff management, including recruitment interviews and performance reviews.
- Manage financial aspects, tracking margin levels and fee/resource forecasts for each commission.
Requirements include local Canadian experience, with local GTA experience being an asset. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills.
