About the Role

You will be responsible for managing human resource activities across the employment lifecycle, including attraction, recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.

You will maintain knowledge of current developments in the HR area of expertise and develop and deliver employee training programs focused on leadership and supervision.

You will recommend and communicate organizational policy changes and advise others on legal and regulatory compliance matters.

You will lead and support employee engagement activities, analyze data to inform personnel decisions, and maintain personnel records and operational budgets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business with a minimum of five years in Human Resources.
  • Experience as a Human Resources Manager/Business Partner in a multiple Manufacturing or Distribution Center business unit environment.
  • Excellent communicator (written, verbal).
  • Working knowledge of Employment Standards and nuances of same across Provincial and US State lines.
  • A strong understanding of HR data and metrics.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, HRIS (Payworks, Workable, Bamboo).
