Financial Cost Analyst

Baker Tilly Canada Cooperative is seeking a proficient Financial Cost Analyst to enhance our financial management team. In this role, you will oversee the organization’s financial operations, which encompass payroll processing, accounts management, budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to operate autonomously.
Primary Duties:- Oversee the organization’s financial operations, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Perform reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
- Guarantee the prompt processing of vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Prepare and maintain payroll schedules and records.
- Gather budget information and generate cost statements.
- Evaluate budget performance against actual results.
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and a commitment to confidentiality.
