Job Summary

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Consult business, you will be responsible for evaluating expenses and cost transactions, ensuring accurate recording and assignment to control accounts and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models and budget plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cost breakdown structures with work and risk breakdown structures
  • Support the development of integrated cost reporting and project dashboards
  • Conduct market research to recommend changes to pricing or business models
  • Prepare periodic cost reconciliation reports and track changing labor and supply costs
  • Capture lessons learned from other projects in the capital portfolio
Requirements
  • Ability to manage large complex financial models and budget plans
  • Understanding of capital project life cycle from asset needs definition to operational commissioning
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required or directly related experience
