This team operates within the broader Hotel Solutions Growth and Go-To-Market division, which integrates Sales, Account Management/Customer Care, and Finance/Technology teams to enhance business strategy, profitability, and commercial success. The team is instrumental in supporting the expansion of five leading technology solutions, each holding a solid market position with considerable growth potential.
Summary of the Role:
Your role will involve supporting pricing strategies, assessing discount requests on deals, and refining pricing and packaging (by product, region, and segment) to foster future growth. You will be crucial in collaborating across functions to enhance business performance and contribute to various growth initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure continuous pricing compliance and profitability for small and medium-sized deals across the portfolio.
- Analyze and assess discount requests, collaborating with sales to drive profitable business growth.
- Assist with escalations for large-scale deals on an as-needed basis.
- Support pricing for specific product lines and evaluate and recommend adjustments in response to competitive and market dynamics.
- Generate reports to analyze commercial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to pricing strategies for new product launches, working closely with product, customer success, and sales teams. Manage changes to pricing, packaging, and billing for customers.
- Develop pricing models to assess ad-hoc business opportunities that can stimulate growth.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in areas such as Pricing Analysis, Commercial Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, or Strategic Consulting.
- Strong analytical and commercial insight to evaluate business cases for potential growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Customer Care, etc.) to achieve alignment and take action.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with all organizational levels, particularly in Sales and Product Management.
- Detail-oriented professional with a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated individual who takes full ownership and accountability for responsibilities.
- Ability to make decisions amidst conflicting priorities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to take risks and learn from setbacks.
- Proven track record of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Experience in the Travel or Hospitality sector is advantageous; specific IT industry experience is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or relational databases is a plus.
