Pricing Analyst Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain pricing models to support sales teams in positioning with customers
  • Generate reports to validate pricing effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure new products have the correct pricing attributes
  • Work with Ciena Marketing to develop collateral explaining pricing levels and selling propositions
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in a technical business role, preferably in hardware or software product area
  • Experience developing pricing strategies for hardware and software solutions in a business-to-business environment
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly learn corporate systems

  • Office365 suite (Power tools)
  • Power BI report/dashboard development

  • AI/Machine learning
  • Dax programming
  • SQL
  • Alteryx workflow
  • Salesforce report/dashboard creation
  • Statistical analysis
