Your Role

As a skilled Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing your drafting skills in Revit to understand electrical components within models.
  • Applying your knowledge of electrical design, installation, and code compliance for building electrical systems.
  • Leading and coordinating small-scale projects, enhancing team collaboration.
  • Working alongside a team of engineers and technologists during detailed design execution, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases, providing essential technical guidance.
  • Mentoring junior staff and conducting site visits to ensure compliance with specifications and designs, under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Promoting and adhering to Englobe's health and safety protocols.

Your Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.)).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit drafting.
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for buildings, including:
    • Power distribution and emergency backup systems (up to 750V).
    • Electrical system modeling (SKM).
    • Lighting, fire alarm, security, door access controls, communications, networking, and automation.
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical consulting.
  • A strong commitment to occupational health and safety practices.
