About the Role:
The Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science at Dalhousie University is on the lookout for a probationary tenure-track lecturer specializing in Atmospheric Sciences. The preferred candidate will possess research interests in domains such as radiation, climate dynamics, extreme weather phenomena, and the interactions between the atmosphere and oceans.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in atmospheric sciences or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated research accomplishments
- Ability to develop a research program supported by external funding
- Capability to instruct both undergraduate and graduate level courses
The selected individual will be responsible for spearheading an independent research initiative, guiding students, participating in departmental and university activities, and promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion efforts.
