About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing in Dalhousie's Faculty of Health invites applications for a full-time, 2-year limited term faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, specializing in Mental Health & Addictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach graduate students in Mental Health & Addictions and other relevant courses
  • Mentor and advise graduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum in Mental Health & Addictions
  • Contribute to the School's research and scholarship activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline; PhD prepared an asset
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing excellence in teaching and practice
  • 4-5 years' clinical and teaching experience in Mental Health & Addictions
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
