Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Sales Executive to spearhead our initiatives within the National Security and Defence sector. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing the adoption of AWS services among governmental Defence and National Security agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
As the leader in this domain, you will:
- Develop and lead a high-performing sales team dedicated to enterprise-level clients.
- Define sales territories, establish performance goals, and ensure the team is equipped for success.
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve peak performance.
- Drive revenue growth and expand market share within your designated region.
- Enhance customer adoption and satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue flow.
- Collaborate with partners to broaden reach and promote service adoption.
- Oversee contract negotiations to secure beneficial agreements.
- Foster long-term strategic relationships with key governmental accounts.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Canadian Defence and Military Market or with National Security Agencies.
- Extensive experience in crafting go-to-market strategies.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in technology-driven consultative roles, including business development and product management.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
